‘MBFFL’ Star Hunter Thore Flaunts His Major Career Move
Many TLC viewers are familiar with Hunter Thore from My Big Fat Fabulous Life. However, he would love to make a name for himself in his own right. While his sister Whitney Way Thore grows as a reality TV star, Hunter Thore wants to be a great actor.
Now, it seems like Hunter has taken a pretty significant step towards his dream. Take a look and learn more about his latest exciting role.
Hunter Thore embraces his new role on the small screen
Before actors make it big, they typically have a handful of smaller guest roles. And it seems like TLC personality Hunter Thore is well on his way. He shared on Instagram that he had the opportunity to have a role on the hit crime show, Blue Bloods.
“Last night I had my first co-star role on #BlueBloods. It was a fantastic experience and I had a blast working alongside the very talented @skurtzuba and being directed by the fabulous @bridgetmoynahan The hair and makeup department was stellar!” Hunter Thore captioned his fun Instagram post.
“I mean look at this mullet! Lol. Big thanks to my agents @ushinkim and @chiara_decaroli at @uga_talent for getting me this audition! Anyway it was a great way to cap off ‘22 and now I’m moving into ‘23 with the lead role in a feature film, but more details about that later!”
“I literally screamed that’s Hunter and pressed rewind,” one fan wrote after spotting him in the episode.
“You’re really pulling off this look bud 😂 I think you’re a superb actor! 👏👏” a follower commented on Hunter’s hairdo.
“Congratulations!!! Your mom would be so proud of you. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️” another added, referencing the late Babs.

The Thores say goodbye to the family matriarch
In December, Whitney Way Thore announced that her mother Babs passed away. She had significant health issues that kept getting worse. While the loss was a tragedy, Whitney shared that Babs passed away surrounded by her loving family.
Many MBFFL fans loved Babs and felt like they knew her. That’s exactly why Whitney chose to invite the public to her funeral.
“[The visitation and funeral] are open to the public and if you loved my mother, you are welcome,” Whitey wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for the overwhelming love and support for my mother and my family. It means everything to us. Her obituary link is in my bio.”
