‘Stranger Things’ Star Noah Schnapp Comes Out Of The Closet
Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp is finally out of the closet as he recently revealed details of his sexuality in a TikTok video. Noah Schnapp Revealed Will Byers Is Gay
Back in July 2022, Noah revealed that his character in Stranger Things is gay when Season 4 Part 1 dropped on the streamer. It was also interpreted by fans that he has feelings for his best friend, Mike Wheeler, played by Finn Wolfhard.

In an interview, he also revealed that Will’s character being gay was hinted from Season 1 itself. However, as the characters mature with each season, their feelings and emotions are more evident than they ever were.
Noah Schnapp Shares Similarities With Will Byers
On January 5, 2023, as reported by TMZ, the actor came out as gay detailing the account of how it happened on TikTok. Over a video of himself resting in the bed, he wrote, “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know.’”
He also mouthed the words to a sound that said, “You know what it never was? That serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly would never be that serious.”

In the clip’s caption, he talked about his Stranger Things character and wrote, “I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.”
Noah Schnapp Leaks His Private Messages With Doja Cat
However, he being out of the closet isn’t the only reason the actor has been in the headlines. In July 2022, Noah Schnapp was in news for leaking his private messages with Doja Cat on TikTok. In the messages, Doja wrote to the Stranger Things star referencing his co-actor Joseph Quinn who played the character Eddie Munson.

She wrote, “Noah can you tell Joseph to hmu. Wait no. Does he have a gf?” to which The Peanuts Movie actor advised her to slide into Eddie’s DM herself. However, the singer didn’t expect that Noah would leak her messages for the public to see. As the drama between the two continued, Schnapp gained more than 3 Million followers while Doha reportedly lost almost 200,000 followers.
Doja Cat Labels Noah Schnapp ‘Lame’ & ‘Cringe’
Although the Kiss Me More singer didn’t directly address the situation, she called out the actor on Twitter without naming him. She wrote, “Y’all are so cringe and lame and nobody wants to hang w u that’s why y’all be on here unironically writing replies to s—that makes you mad.” However, the two later made up after Noah Schnapp apologized stating that he still follows her on social media and loves her music.
