Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is showing off her Gold Medal skill-set from the desert and with a stretch.
The Russian-born former athlete has been making headlines for her appearance on Special Forces, World’s Toughest Test, and a recent Instagram share from her came promoting it all. Nastia is known for TV features and has competed on Dancing With the Stars. The five-time Olympic medalist posted for her 1.1 million followers, although she kept the impressive flexibility for a swipe. Nastia shouted out Fox while posing in a tight shorts and sports bra look to begin with.
Stuns Fans With Desert Shoot
Nastia opened posing from a desert setting while showing off her figure. She modeled a black pair of gym shorts and paired them with a skimpy cropped sports bra top. Going for a one-shouldered finish as she showcased her toned legs and abs, Nastia wowed the camera while gazing downward. She also wore her light locks scraped away from her face and in a bun.
Fans then got a dramatic shot as the Moscow native stretched out a leg while balancing on the other. Here, she posed atop a massive cliff setting while reaching one arm out to the sky. She opted for cargo pants and a hoodie, here. Nastia retired at the age of 22 back in 2012, but she’s clearly kept her skills. In a caption, the APL collaborator wrote:
“TWO DAYS AWAY: tune in to @foxtv on Wednesday at 8pm EST to watch: Special Forces, World’s Toughest Test.” She added:

“Don’t be fooled though, these photos were taken moments before we turned in our phones + of our belongings, our successes that “defined” us, and even our names… not a single one of us had a clue what we were about to walk into. But, my life was forever changed from this journey, and I am so grateful to have met 15 amazing people (and our 4 incredible directing staff) that quickly turned to friends, and even, family – brothers + sisters – for the rest of my life.”
Kept Going After Retiring
Nastia moved to the U.S. as a child and with her Russian gymnast parents. Her father was her coach.
Opening up to The Cut after quitting the beam, Nastia revealed that she felt “lost” in regular gyms and like a fish out of water. She also shared that she gained weight after not being pro anymore.
Will Work Out In Hotel Rooms!
“I followed a strict plan for 22 years so as soon as I was done competing I was like, you know what? I’m gonna do what I feel like doing. Some days that’s just getting in 20 minutes of some kind of workout,” she dished, adding that she’ll even do it in a hotel room.
