‘GMA’ TJ Holmes Files For Divorce Amid Affair Scandal
It has been reported that the Good Morning America show host TJ Holmes and his wife Marliee Fiebig have filed for divorce. The couple wed in 2010, but have now made the first step towards divorce by filing with the New York County Supreme Court on Wednesday. This comes after it was revealed that Holmes was having an affair with his fellow GMA co-host Amy Robach.

Holmes And Robach Cause An ‘HR Nightmare’ At GMA
The news of TJ Holmes’ divorce comes after his affair with Amy Robach was made public in November. Daily Mail released photos of TJ and Amy on November 30 and the internet blew up.
Every photo in the series showed the pair engaging in PDA, from holding hands in the back of an Uber to a pat on the behind while loading up the car.
It is not known how either of their spouses came to find out about the affair. However, it has been confirmed that Amy, her husband, Andrew Shue, and TJ and Marliee have separated since August of this year.
After the news broke via Daily Mail, Amy promptly deleted her Instagram and TJ has gone absolutely silent on social media. Amy and TJ had to step away from their duties on Good Morning America while network executives tried to figure out how to handle the situation.
According to several sources, ABC called the rumors and the entire situation an “HR nightmare.” Despite being taken off the air and facing serious consequences for their actions, TJ Holmes and Amy Robach were seen getting cozy as recently as Monday, just two days before he filed for divorce from his wife.
TJ Holmes’ 2020 Anniversary Post Goes Viral
Since the affair was made public, many people have taken to TJ Holmes’ social media pages to blast him for cheating on his wife. In 2020, he posted an anniversary post about his wife. The caption he wrote hinted at trouble in his marriage then.
In it, he said that “10 years ago Marilee Fiebig married me. And despite my best efforts, she remained married to me for the past 10 years. I gave her plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities to walk her fine ass out the door.”
TJ Holmes went on to say that asking for another 10 years would be too much. Even 10 months would “be a stretch.” Now, people are pointing out the post and how “cringe” it is. It definitely hasn’t aged well.

TJ Holmes And Marilee Fiebig File For Divorce
While everyone saw it coming, TJ and Marilee made the first steps toward ending their marriage. InTouch Weekly confirmed that TJ Holmes and Marilee Fiebig officially filed for divorce on Wednesday, December 28.
This is TJ Holmes’ second marriage and Fiebig’s first. They share one child, their daughter Sabine. Holmes was previously married to Amy Ferson, with who he shares two children: daughter Brianna, and son Jaiden.
