‘1000-Lb. Best Friends’: Meet Meghan Crumpler’s Man
1000-Lb. Best Friends fans are very familiar with Meghan Crumpler. However, many might not remember that she has a fiance. Meghan mentions her partner on occasion, but he doesn’t appear on the show very often.
Meghan Crumpler is a social butterfly, but it seems like her fiance Jon likes to keep a lower profile. Now that 1000-Lb. Best Friends Season 2 is on its way to TLC, many fans are curious to learn more about him.

Meghan Crumpler’s fiance Jon has a big heart
Jon might not be as social as his lady Meghan Crumpler, but he does have a public Instagram account. His Instagram handle is also @jon_1000lbbestfriends, so he is clearly comfortable being affiliated with the show. Like Meghan, he also appears to be a Christian.
“Merry CHRISTmas! May God watch over you all.. Jesus is the reason I celebrate Christmas 🎄” Jon captioned his Christmas photos from this year.
In Touch Weekly reports that he works at a drug and alcohol testing facility in Georgia. The publication also reports that they met during an online gaming session.
“I love Meghan to the moon and back,” Jon told the show’s production team. “Everything that she does, she’s such a wonderful person. She has such a kind, sweetheart.”
1000-Lb. Best Friends viewers know that Meghan Crumpler struggles with body image issues. She was reportedly afraid that Jon wouldn’t like her anymore after he saw what she looked like. But that clearly didn’t happen. Jon fell harder in love with Meghan than ever before.
They went on to get engaged in February 2021. Meghan hasn’t spoken much about wedding planning on the show yet, but that could be an upcoming storyline in Season 2.
TLC teases brand new 1000-Lb. Best Friends content
With any luck, Jon will play a bigger role when 1000-Lb. Best Friends Season 2 finally comes to TLC. It’s not immediately clear what storylines he will have. However, Meghan did reveal that he suffered a minor knife wound back in May of this year.
TLC released a teaser for 1000-Lb. Best Friends Season 2 and it looks like this season will heavily focus on Meghan Crumpler’s weight loss journey. In the teaser, Meghan and Dr. Proctor appear to butt heads over her progress. He tells her that she’s nowhere near where she should be. Meghan retorts that it’s been challenging for her and she doesn’t appreciate the way he treats her. Ultimately, she storms off and Tina reports that her friend is in full “meltdown mode.”
Without a doubt, this is a season premiere that fans will want to see.
