However, the show’s creator revealed that he already has a plan for Season 2 and is optimistic regarding its performance. Yet, he is still in the dark if the streamer will renew it sometime in the future. So, as of now, there is no official news of renewal from Netflix.

Hawley Is Confident About The Recruit’s Future

Talking about the series’ future iterations, Hawley said, “I know things about where I would want to take it, and where I’d want to go with it. I mean obviously, you hope for success, but as you could see with that ending, I didn’t plan for failure because I feel like in this day and age you just have to be bold, you have to be dramatic, to the expense of everything else.”

“And you can’t worry about Season 2’s, or Season 3’s, or beyond. You have to go, “What’s the best version of this story right now?” And trust that people will come to it. And then you’ll get another shot at it,” he further explained.

Each Episode Title In The Series Has CIA-Like Initials

As per What’s On Netflix, the series was promoted during Netflix’s TUDUM Global event held on September 24, 2022, on YouTube. Apart from Centineo in the lead, the show also stars Aarti Mann, Vondie Curtis Hall, Daniel Quincy Annoh, Laura Haddock, Kristian Bruun, Colton Dunn, and Fivel Stewart. Additionally, Angel Parker, Kaylah Zander, and Byron Mann were also cast in recurring roles.

A special thing about the series is that each of the Season 1 episode bears CIA-like initials in their title. These codes are similar to the acronym for different projects and divisions in the CIA. However, throughout the series, Owen acknowledges that he has trouble keeping up with the initials.
