Savannah Guthrie Gushes Over Her Husband And Son
On Monday’s episode, Craig took over Savannah’s spot while the anchor was nowhere to be seen. Earlier over the weekend, the journalist shared pictures of a fun day out in New York City of her husband Michael Feldman, and her youngest child Charles. On Sunday, she took to Instagram and posted pictures of the father-son pair at The Lion King Broadway show.
Some of these snaps showed the father-son duo looking excited as they stood outside the theater. Another snap was of the cute six-year-old holding the broadway show’s playbill as he anxiously waited for the performance to start. The proud mother gushed over the pictures and captioned the post, “What a treat. One lion, one cub at The Lion King.”
Savannah Guthrie Announces Her New Animated Project
However, it is unclear if Savannah or her eight-year-old daughter attended the show as they were both missing from the pictures. However, the journalist’s day off was put to good use as she recently announced a big career move. As per The Sun, this was a gig outside of Studio 1A.
Last week on Thursday, the NBC anchor gave viewers a quick sneak peek at her latest project that will drop sometime next month. Her co-host Carson Daly shared the news while reporting his daily Pop Start Segment. He talked about Savannah’s upcoming animated series where she has partnered with Drew Barrymore on a show titled Princess Power. The series is based on the best-selling book series, Princesses Wear Pants.
When Will Savannah’s Princess Power Premiere On Netflix?
The script for this new kids’ series has been written by Savannah while Drew produced the same. The newsroom seemed excited at their colleague’s work as they gushed over the animated series. Savannah explained more about her animated show and highlighted the four princesses that represent young ladies in leadership. Her co-host Craig, Hoda, and meteorologist Dylan Dreyer asked her for more information after which she revealed the popular voice actors that are a part of the show.
The legal analyst/correspondent later revealed that Princess Power will premiere on January 30, 2023, on Netflix. Hoda seemed excited to introduce the show to her daughters Haley Joy (5) and Hope Catherine (3). She said, “I’ve been looking for something for my girls to watch.”
“It’s cute, and they’re the right age group,” assured Savannah.
Last month, fans grew concerned for the anchor after she missed the show for a few days. However, later fans learned that the mother of two was at home recovering from nasty flu.
