What did Savannah Guthrie do?

Savannah Guthrie captioned the Instagram post: “Miss Jackson!” However, her fans had something else on their minds. They let her know what they really thought about the rude interview. Fans agreed that someone should’ve offered Miss Jackson a seat. Here are just some of the many comments:

  • “I wish you had offered her a seat. She even looked behind herself to see if one had been brought to her. Very strange to make her stand.”
  • “Why was she standing for so long? That was the one thing that threw me…” while a third simply asked: “Why didn’t you give her a seat?”
  • “No seat. Was like the most awkward interview with her as she was standing & you were all sitting.”
  • “How dysfunctional they didn’t even offer her a chair oh their heads are in the clouds lately.”

As you can see, fans noticed something strange about the interview. Some of them blamed Savannah for being a rude host, while others noted that Sheinelle interrupted the interview. She wanted to have a moment with Janet during the live show. It’s possible that Savannah Guthrie and her colleagues were too awestruck to offer Janet a seat.

Sheinelle Jones hijacks the interview

Savannah Guthrie wasn’t the only one who was in hot water for her behavior. Sheinelle stole attention away from the star when she admitted that she was a superfan. She even dressed as Janet during the Today Show’s 2019 Halloween Celebration when she wore a Rhythm Nation costume. At the time, Sheinelle performed with a group of backup dancers.

Sheinelle wanted Janet to know how influential she was in her own life. Janet offered an invite for the television host to join her on her tour. What are your thoughts on Savannah Guthrie getting dragged for impolite behavior? Sound off below in the comment section.

  1. When a lady is standing and a man is sitting you get up and offer the lady your seat, that is the way I was raised and the way I raised my children. The 2 men on stage should offer a public apology for their rude behavior.

  2. I agree the men should have offered her their seat, but the blame should be put on the producers of the show. Why were there not enough seats for her? Was someone there that wasn’t supposed to be?

  3. Get rid of both women on Today show. Neither one is a great host. Love Dillon and Jill is great and Sheinell is fun. Savannah and Hoda are tired and OLD!!!!
