Former Counting On star and Duggar daughter Joy Forsyth is stirring controversy with her kids Gideon and Evelyn’s bizarre meal. The pregnant mom posted a snap of her two-year-old and four-year-old’s dinner over the weekend, and what she served them left fans in shock. This is not the first time the Duggar family has been criticized for the meals they eat and serve to their kids. You have probably heard of some of their interesting dishes, from BBQ tuna to tater tot casserole.
Fans think Joy Forsyth is taking after her family by feeding her children something pretty bizarre.

On her Instagram Stories this weekend, Joy shared a photo as her kids enjoyed their dinner. The soon-to-be mother of three served spaghetti on a piece of butcher paper on the coffee table. Beside it is a homemade charcuterie board with a variety of items, from cheese slices to Cheez-It crackers. She called it her family’s “Christmas tree lit dinner” and they enjoyed a movie too.
It looks like two-year-old Evelyn is eating the noodles with her hands. You can see the photo below.
It turns out that videos of meals like this have been making their rounds on TikTok and other social media platforms. So, Joy isn’t the only one serving her kids this way. Nonetheless, fans think it’s an odd choice.
Duggar fans are baffled by this controversial meal.
On Reddit, a fan shared a screenshot from one of Joy Forsyth’s recent Instagram Stories. And many fans commented to say just how odd they think this meal is. One user said, “That is the craziest assortment of foods put together.”
Someone else asked, “I cannot tell you how much this grosses me out. The germs and the spit going into that pasta. Ewww. Why on earth would you do this?”
Another joked, “Does this remind anyone else of feeding livestock by walking along, dumping feed out of a bucket in a long line?”
It looks like Joy Forsyth’s meal for her kids isn’t a favorite of fans. But she seemed to think it was a good idea.
