Whitney Bates Shares A Glimpse Into Sweetest Christmas Tradition
Bringing Up Bates star Whitney Bates is sharing a glimpse into one of her family’s sweetest Christmas traditions. With the big day right around the corner, she and her family are enjoying many fun festivities together. But the most recent outing she shared was extra-special. Keep reading to see what Whitney’s family is up to in preparation for Christmas.
As we previously reported, Whitney and her family shared a few photos as they decorated their home for Christmas. This was a big deal because they didn’t decorate last year. Sadly, shortly before Christmas 2021, Whitney’s father passed away. So, amid their grieving, the family didn’t put up their decorations.
But this year, they were able to. It was extra special because this is their one-year-old son Jadon’s first Christmas with the house all decorated. Now Whitney Bates has another special tradition to share with fans.
Whitney Bates Shares A Glimpse Into Sweetest Christmas Tradition
On her Instagram Stories this weekend, Whitney shared a few snaps from a sweet Christmas tradition. Her husband Zach took their six-year-old daughter Kaci on a special outing to go Christmas shopping. It looks like Kaci was very excited about this.
In one story post, Whitney Bates explained, “It’s tradition that Zach takes each kid out for a Christmas lunch date and then go to the store after to let them pick a small gift for each of their siblings.” She pointed out that Kaci had been ready to go since 7:30 a.m. She shared a couple of photos of Zach and Kaci together.
In the caption of another snap, Whitney gave her husband a shoutout for being “intentional” with their kids.
Later, the former Bringing Up Bates star dropped a picture of Kaci enjoying lunch at McDonald’s. Whitney said it’s her six-year-old’s “fav place she’ll pick every time.”

It’s unclear if the other kids have had their shopping days. With Christmas just a week away, they may be finishing up this week, or maybe they got it done further in advance. Hopefully, Zach and Whitney Bates’ family has a nice holiday with their loved ones.
