Disney+’s upcoming Marvel series Agatha: Coven Of Chaos has just hit a snag. The series was slated to premiere sometime in Winter 2023. However, the series is now being pushed back to 2025. Marvel has been dropping some amazing superhero series on Disney+ and the media franchise isn’t happy with the way Phase Four came to pass. Marvel fans were introduced to Agatha Harkness in Disney+’s wildly successful WandaVision series. Initially, the character’s true identity was kept under wraps. However, toward the show’s climax, the epic showdown between Agatha and Wanda details who she really is. She is a centuries-old witch from Salem who was accused of using dark magic and removed from her own coven.

After sensing the chaos magic radiating from Wanda Maximoff’s Westview Anomaly, she becomes a part of the make-believe world to harness Maximoff’s power. Under the guise of Agnes, she tries to learn more about the Scarlet Witch. However, later on, she is defeated by Wanda and even stripped of her magical abilities. Moreover, she is indefinitely condemned to live her life as Agnes in the make-believe Westview town.
Agatha: Coven Of Chaos Was A Part Of MCU’s Phase Five Rollout
Agatha: Coven Of Chaos is among Marvel’s highly anticipated series that fans were looking forward to premiering in 2023 or early 2024. However, the series won’t make it to the streamer anytime before 2025 as reported by Giant Freakin Robot. Given how Marvel has been releasing movies and shows with sub-par quality, this delay might prove better for MCU and aid perfection.

Previously, the series was marked to be a part of MCU’s Phase Five rollout. Now that the series is being pushed back more than a year, it might mean Marvel has bigger plans for the events slated to unfold in the story.
