‘GMA’ T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach May Not Return By 2023?

News, Talk Shows

GMA’s T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach may not return by 2023. As TV Shows Ace reported, ABC News benched the co-anchors and launched an internal review into their affair. The two were spotted out and about in New York City even though they’re not on the morning show. Even Amy has made some separate appearances on her own.

T.J. and Amy are trying to keep a brave face and stick together during this difficult time. At first, it was assumed that they would keep their positions. However, T.J. has been allegedly involved with other colleagues, which prolonged the internal review. The ABC company wants to ensure that the alleged affair didn’t violate company policy.

When could T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach return?

The future for Good Morning America co-hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach has come out. It remains unclear for the time being. They will remain off the air for the remainder of the year. It’s also unlikely that they will return in 2023. Sources told TMZ that the internal review is still ongoing.

It is “next to impossible” for the GMA3 stars to return to the desk next year. They both also scheduled time off for the holiday season. Fans may not see them for a few weeks, but only if they do return. Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos first replaced the couple on the show. They were joined by Dr. Jennifer Ashton.

However, GMA has tested out new talent during this time. Fans noticed when they replaced T.J. Holmes with newbie DeMarco Morgan. Earlier this week, Rhiannon Ally made fans do a double-take when she joined the show. Viewers couldn’t help but notice how similar the new duo looks to the former co-hosts.

Gone missing from GMA3

T.J. Holmes and Amy went missing from the third hour of the show on December 2, 2022. ABC benched them just days after the news of their alleged affair leaked. They are not on speaking terms with the network. Their legal teams will handle all direct communications with ABC.

However, T.J. and Amy are willing to work with the network executives if it comes to that point. In late November, news broke that the two were in an alleged six-month affair. They were spotted having secret dates at a NYC bar and each other’s Manhattan apartments. The rumored couple also went on a weekend getaway together, despite being married to other people.

In some of the shocking photos and videos obtained by DailyMail.com, T.J. Holmes patted Amy’s butt as she put their overnight bags into the trunk. The British outlet revealed that the two stayed at a cottage in upstate New York just a few weeks before Thanksgiving. The two returned home to their respective families. The photos and videos went viral on social media.
