If you didn’t know, Carlin and her husband Evan Stewart welcomed their second child, Zade, to the world in March 2022. This is his first Christmas, so it’s a very special one. Plus, the family is celebrating their first Christmas in their new home, which they moved into shortly after Zade’s birth.
On social media, Carlin Bates has been giving fans a glimpse into her family’s Christmas festivities. It looks like nine-month-old Zade and two-year-old Layla are having a blast getting ready for the holiday.

As Carlin has started wrapping her family members’ gifts, her infant son is getting some practice in. On her Instagram Stories this week, the 24-year-old posted an adorable video of Zade hanging out under the tree. He grabbed a present and checked it out. It looks like he might want to practice unwrapping gifts before the big day.
In the background of the video, Carlin asks her baby boy what he’s doing. Then, she said he was stealing one of his cousins’ gifts. Evan Stewart chimed in and wanted his son to open a gift with his name on it. He asked Zade to open a different one so he could get a “sneak peek.”

Carlin Bates captioned the post, “I think he is ready for his first Christmas.”
She added, “Meanwhile…Zade is perfectly happy getting into all the gifts under the tree.”
