Sister Wives Season 17 has been the money maker for TLC. Especially given the saucy drama after Christine Brown decided to break out of her polygamy marriage. However, viewers who haven’t yet seen the show wonder if the series is worth streaming now that the family is falling apart. Here is what fans feel about the TLC show!
Sister Wives Doesn’t Represent A Functional Plural Marriage
The series started as a means to show viewers that a polygamist marriage/family can function just as well as any regular one. However, this season there is drama, anger, frustration, manipulation, and a lot more. So, not your standard/well-functioning family!

For viewers who wish to watch the series for some fun, and entertainment, and to learn new things about a polygamy marriage, it is sure worth a watch. However, if one specifically wishes to see a highly functional and loving plural marriage, the show is nothing but a big disappointment, especially the latest season.
Sister Wives Season 17 Has Emotions Running High
This season, Christine Brown isn’t the only one who is getting honest about the twisted family dynamics. She was also upfront about how Kody’s attitude towards the rest of the family (except for Robyn and her kids) has changed for the worse.
Even Janelle Brown spoke her truth and explained how she was financially robbed by Kody and Robyn to the point that she doesn’t have any place to live. Moreover, she was the one who paid almost $300,000 for Robyn’s grand $900,000 house.
Given how decked with drama this season has been, a fan unversed with the series questioned on Reddit whether the series is worth a watch from the beginning.
