Others ended up with charges on their credit or debit card. Yet, Ticketmaster didn’t guarantee them any tickets. Some of the fans are desperate and have gone to other sources, such as Groupon and StubHub, both of which have less-than-desirable results.

One Taylor Swift fan lost $1,480
There was one Taylor Swift who became a victim of a ticket scam on Facebook. Per a report via NJ.com, a woman from Hackettstown, New Jersey lost $1,480 to a scammer whio promised tickets to the ever-popular Eras Tour. They sold them on Facebook, but never provided the tickets. The fan fell for the scam, thinking they would finally secure a seat on the hottest world tour come 2023.
The woman went to authorities after they lost $1.4K. She saw a post on a Facebook group in which someone claimed they had Taylor Swift tickets for sale. She communicated with the person via messenger and text message. The woman sent the money to the seller via Zelle, a popular online payment service.
Unfortunately, those tickets are hard to get. Fans stormed Ticketmaster as soon as she made the announcement. Some claimed the site took their money without providing tickets. Last month, Taylor Swift announced that she will perform at the MetLife Stadium for two dates in May 2023.
Singer to make her directorial debut
Taylor Swift is briefly moving on from music. Fans have a feeling that she wants to get an Oscar. Per Variety, she is making her feature directorial debut with Searchlight Pictures. The singer and songwriter has an original script that the studio will produce.
As with all of Taylor Swift’s projects, details such as casting and plot are being kept secret for now. This comes amid the news that the “Anti-Hero” singer wants to transition from pop star to director. She already released the behind-the-scenes video of the making of “All Too Well: The Short Film,” which she directed and wrote herself. She screened the film at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival.
