Duggar fans are horrified after seeing Austin and Joy Forsyth leave a gun within their kids’ reach. The couple’s parenting skills have been called into question many times over the past few years, and fans are often left wondering how one of their kids hasn’t ended up seriously injured. Duggar fans have raised concerns many times, yet the risky behaviors continue. The kids went out to a construction site with their parents and weren’t wearing shoes, which left fans worried they’d end up with injuries from nails or other sharp objects.

On Friday, Joy dropped a new YouTube video and gave fans a peek into her family’s life. While she was talking to the camera, a gun can be seen laying on a chair in the background.

On Reddit, Duggar fans and critics are talking about the gun in Austin and Joy Forsyth’s newest video. Someone described this as a “a terrible accident waiting to happen.”
One Reddit user stated, “Everyday innocent children are killed because they get their hands on guns that are left laying around.”
Someone else said, “Regardless of whether that gun is loaded or not, what a totally weird environment to raise your innocent children in—guns laid carelessly around the house.”
Some fans have wondered whether this is just normal for families with guns. However, one fan also pointed out, “Growing up – my family had guns – and they were never left laying around haphazardly.”
