On Reddit, Bringing Up Bates fans are talking about Erin Paine and sharing how they really feel about her. One Reddit user pointed out that Erin always seems to come across as being “sweet and nice,” but they know others have different opinions of her. So, this fan was curious to know why exactly fans don’t like Erin.
One fan said, “Because she comes off preachy and judgmental,” while another accused the mother of five of being “holier than thou.”
Someone else recalled a situation on Bringing Up Bates that speaks volumes about her. They said, “Erin mentioned in one of the earlier episodes that hardly anyone turned up to her bridal shower before she got married despite handing out hundreds of invitations. I think that statement tells everyone about Erin.”

Another fan remembered a couple of Erin’s social media posts that could have seriously hurt her sister Michael Keilen’s feelings. In case you didn’t know, Michael is dealing with infertility. A fan explained:
“She was callous and cold towards Michaela’s feelings and posted several stories holding her stomach with captions about how you ‘just need to pray’ and all your dreams will come true and if they don’t it means you lacked faith. It was so gross and cemented my feelings that she is not kind.”
