What Is Hallmark’s The Dog Lover’s Guide To Dating About?

According to the Hallmark synopsis, professional dog trainer Alex (Dalton) adores dogs. Therefore, it makes sense that she loves them, but is distrustful of their owners. Her dislike is so strong that she hasn’t had a date in a long time.

On the other hand, Simon (Sevier) has found the woman of his dreams, Chloe (King). However, he needs to win over his beloved’s dog. Without these small details, the relationship is doomed.

Now, Simon has enlisted Alex to train him. He wants to show Chloe that he is the pack leader of her dreams and win over his lady love.

Alex is not convinced that training Simon will solve his love life, but she desperately needs money. She needs to save the local animal shelter. This is very important to her and she will do anything to help these homeless dogs have a safe space before they find their forever homes.

Simon comes to the rescue to help Alex save her big problem. He has the marketing skills she needs to promote the shelter and get donations to save the special spot.

Moreover, Simon is good with people, something that Alex lacks. Together, they make a great team.

Soon, Simon realizes that his dream woman is not Chloe. It is Alex! Surprised, he realizes that he needs to woo the woman who loves dogs more than him. Can he find a way for her to notice him?

Most of all, is their new bond strong enough to make a relationship work? Moreover, will their fundraiser save the shelter? Can they raise the necessary funds to help the furry residents?
