Growing Up Chrisley struggled with mental health

It’s been a difficult year for Savannah Chrisley. She’s struggled with her mental health even more since her family’s personal issues have come to light. The 25-year-old recently launched her new podcast called Unlocked. Savannah wanted to share a side of herself that her fans don’t get to see on her family’s reality show.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Deidre Behar, Savannah talked about her new venture and why she’s talking about mental health. Of course, all of her fans are going to want more details about her family’s downfall. However, the reality star feels like this is the best time to address her mental health struggles.

Savannah shared that she “never hit really deep” in her life. She noticed that she “had all these things bottled up” inside that she never dealt with before. Savannah didn’t know how to deal with them. The podcast allows her to speak her “truth” and to share how she’s been feeling.

“I never got to tell my truth or what people did to me and now it’s like, this is the truth,” Savannah Chrisley told ET Online. “It’s not to bash anyone, it’s just the truth. So if the shoe fits, wear it.”

The television personality goes there on her new platform. Savannah shares with her fans that she’s been through some dark places in her life. There was a point when she didn’t respond to phone calls or texts. Nowadays, Savannah is doing her best as she leans on her faith and the strength of her family during this time.

On Sunday, December 4, Savannah Chrisley posted a new outtake from her Unlocked photo shoot. It was a side profile of the Sassy founder wearing an emerald green blouse. Savannah looks down solemnly at the ground. In her Instagram post, she talks about strengths and struggles.

“‘Where is no struggle there is no strength,'” Savannah Chrisley wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.

Fans took to the comment section to react. Most of them assured her to ignore the haters and to stray strong. She’s gotten a lot of support despite the criticism against her family. However, there were some trolls in the comments.
