This isn’t the first time that Joy Forsyth has found herself in hot water for endangering herself and her kids. But this situation has fans especially concerned.
In her latest YouTube video, which she dropped on Friday, Joy took fans along as she, her husband Austin, and their kids Gideon and Evelyn spent some time with Austin’s parents. While they were there, Joy and Austin rode four-wheelers around the property. Joy even put her two-year-old daughter Evelyn on the four-wheeler with her. Neither the mom nor her daughter wore helmets.

On Reddit, Duggar fans and critics are discussing Joy Forsyth’s latest decision. And many are horrified to see what she’s been up to. Someone commented, “They’re just a tragic accident waiting to happen. So careless. SMH. It’s one thing if Joy as an adult chose not to take safety precautions take that risk. But when you involve children that’s where it crosses the line for me.”
One person added, “Jesus Christ I was too nervous to go on the Frozen ride at Disney world when I was pregnant.”
Another fan pointed out that Joy Forsyth previously had a 20-week loss. While that loss wasn’t her fault, fans assume she would want to be even more cautious with this pregnancy out of fear of losing this baby.
Many other Reddit users are sharing heartbreaking stories of people getting injured or killed by riding four-wheelers without the proper protective gear. They hope nothing like this ever happens to Joy or any of her children.
Fortunately, it looks like both Joy and Evelyn are fine. But fans are afraid these risky behaviors will continue throughout Joy’s pregnancy. According to Baby Center, pregnant people should not ride ATVs. The site notes, “A fall or impact while riding a four wheeler or motorcycle could put your pregnancy in danger. Riding during the late second and third trimester – when your baby isn’t as well protected as in early pregnancy – is especially risky.”
