Welcome To Plathville Star Arrested For DUI
In case you missed the news, Kim Plath was arrested for DUI last month. According to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office records, Kim was responsible for property damage and personal damage in addition to the DUI.
On her family’s show, she was open about not drinking alcohol and discouraged her children from doing so. However, it looks like she didn’t end up following those same rules after her divorce from Barry Plath.
Hours after she was arrested, the exact details of her DUI were revealed. In June in Florida, her car was found in a ditch, according to TMZ. She only had minor injuries and was the only person involved in the car crash. At the time, she said she had consumed two 12-ounce margaritas and had come from Cairo, Georgia.
Though the crash was in June, the blood alcohol test only came back in September, which was when a warrant was issued for her arrest.
According to the police report, “The results of the blood test for Ms. Plath was a .161 and .162 BAC [blood alcohol content.]” So, she turned herself in in October.

According to the legal documents InTouch obtained, Kim Plath expressed interest in an alcohol recovery program. The documents note that she checked a box showing she believes she would “benefit” from an abstinence-based alcoholism program.
InTouch also learned that Kim Plath “is required to abstain from alcohol and refrain from criminal activity” upon her release.
It’s unclear what exactly is ahead for the Welcome to Plathville star. Hopefully, she is able to get these issues under control to keep herself and other drivers safe.

Lost all sympathy for her. I believe that she along with many before her used the television show as a way to get out of her marriage and she leaves her younger children in the care of Lydia. Shame on you Kimberly Plath!!
