GMA co-anchor Rob Marciano shared his last 12 hours of terror. The meteorologist reported from Mississippi where it’s been ravaged by tornadoes and strong storms. As TV Shows Ace previously revealed, fans were happy to see Rob back on the morning show. However, they noticed that he’s still absent from the weekend edition.

The fan-favorite went on hiatus from that programming in the summer. Rob only pops up every so often on the talk show to report on dangerous weather. He covered Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Nicole. Now, he’s back down South to talk about the life-threatening tornadoes.

Makes a big return to Good Morning America

Rob Marciano made his big return to GMA. He wanted to talk about his last 12 hours of terror. There have been over a dozen tornadoes in just that duration alone. Rob shared his thoughts during Wednesday’s live broadcast of the talk show.

“It has been such a tough year on the capital of Mississippi,” Rob Marciano said in the clip. “It has been a terrorizing 12 hours or so, across this state and across the South as this powerful, late-season, severe weather event took place.”

The weatherman looked understandably concerned. He donned his signature cobalt blue ABC News wind jacket. The clip then showed the severe weather that took place during those dark hours. Most of the south got drenched with torrential downpours, as well as extreme wind and tornadoes.

The clip cut back to Rob Marciano, who looked back at those 12 hours. He noted that it was calm behind him for the time being. It wouldn’t last for long since more storms are expected. The GMA co-anchor also discussed the high winds and snow that’s coming to the Northeast from late Wednesday into early Thursday morning.

This wild weather system has caused tornadoes to stick around down South. On Tuesday, November 29, Rob shared a video himself driving in the storms on his Instagram Story. He could barely see out his windshield. His wipers couldn’t handle the amount of rain that was coming down.

Fans concerned about Rob Marciano

GMA fans were ecstatic to see Rob Marciano back on the show. However, they were concerned about his safety. He took to social media to share the “calm before the storm” in Tennessee. He stayed there before making his way to Mississippi, where the storms followed.

Fans took to the comment section to wish him well. They also were happy to see him back to forecasting the weather on Good Morning America. Yet, one fan noticed that Rob Marciano wasn’t back on the weekend programming. Others told him to “stay safe” in the dangerous areas.
