The streamer has given a straight-to-series order to the project that is being helmed by Warner Bros. TV and writer Christy Hall. The novel was previously adapted for a 1995 movie of the same name starring Sean Connery. She played the daughter of Connery’s character in this feature film. While the movie had Sean in the lead, the series will focus on Madison Cowart (Johansson) who is a Florida-based reporter.
