‘Today’ Al Roker Shocks Fans With New Gray Mustache

Today co-anchor Al Roker shocked fans with his new gray mustache. His wife Deborah Roberts shared a photo of him looking unrecognizable. Al was rushed to the hospital for multiple blood clots. As a result, he’s been absent from the Today Show as well as Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Deborah has been sharing updates on her husband’s behalf. However, Al was the one who broke his silence on Instagram and announced that he was in the hospital. Thankfully, he was able to return home on Thanksgiving to spend time with his family. He also shared his new look with fans.

Al Roker looks unrecognizable on Instagram

Al Roker shared an Instagram video of himself leaving the hospital. He walked through the halls and on his way home. He joked that this was his version of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Al’s wife Deborah also took to her Instagram page to share a photo of the beloved television personality. She snapped a selfie with him on her Instagram Stories.

Across the photo, Deborah wrote: “My heart can barely…” Al Roker looked unrecognizable with his new gray mustache. He also wore a green, gray, and yellow polo shirt with a navy blue jacket. He also had on a black baseball cap and his signature eyeglasses. Deborah wore an animal print cardigan over a black T-shirt and olive green thick-framed glasses.

She revealed that she was grateful to have her husband back home. In another post, Al’s wife noted that she was “thankful today and always.” Deborah also shared a photo of Al and their kids as they celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday.

“Welcome home my dear sweetheart Al Roker,” Deborah wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. “Gratitude isn’t an adequate description but we will start there. Brilliant medical minds. Loving family and friends. Unceasing prayer warriors.”

On Thanksgiving Day, Al Roker took to Twitter to share a photo of himself watching the parade from his hospital room. Once again, he showed off his new look. Al grew some fuzz during his hospital stay. He also expressed gratitude for his health.
