Victoria Fuller Clarifies Greg Grippo Relationship Timeline
Bachelor in Paradise alum Victoria Fuller was front and center on the reunion special with now ex-fiance Johnny DePhillipo and current beau Greg Grippo. Victoria Fuller clarifies Greg Grippo timeline
Bachelor Nation caught up with Victoria Fuller to talk about her new relationship with Greg Grippo. According to Victoria, she didn’t start officially dating Greg until their Italy trip. She’s clarifying when they started dating since everyone seemed to be accusing her of cheating.
She said, “Absolutely! Greg and I were really great friends leading up to where we are now. It was a really easy transition for us. We were both interested in one another, but we never really knew that. Nothing had ever happened between us before we started dating. We never even kissed. We hadn’t been on a date until we went to Italy. After I had completely broken up with Johnny, Greg called me and said he wanted to see where it could go. He called me and asked if I would be willing to go on a date with him in Italy. We didn’t want to go on a date in the U.S. because we didn’t want anyone to see us.”
As for Johnny, he admits he had suspicions about Victoria and Greg. In fact, he’s not so sure he believes her that she wasn’t cheating on him.
Where do they go next?
Victoria noted that she and Greg are taking their new love very seriously. He knows that she is wanting to find a husband and start a family soon.
So, how are they handling the long-distance part of their relationship? Victoria says they are still just enjoying each other’s company and are excited to date in public in the United States. She noted that neither one of them thought they would be spotted in Italy.
They are both trying to decide where they want to live.
The cheating rumors
Victoria was also asked about what she would say to those still thinking she cheated on Johnny. She said, “I would like to say to people that this was five months ago that we filmed and I am allowed to live my life. I deserve to be happy, as does Johnny, as does Greg. There was no crossover in timeline. Greg and I have been friends for a year and a half and it didn’t become romantic until we were able to explore the relationship, which was only a few weeks ago. It’s new, but because we built a relationship on a friendship, it’s been really easy to be so comfortable with him. That’s why it seems like it’s taken off fast. We had a year and a half to get to know each other.”
Johnny admitted that he and Victoria were only engaged three weeks past the finale being filmed. They even tried couples counseling. It just wasn’t meant to be for them.
Victoria said she wishes Johnny nothing but the best and hopes he finds love too. She noted she’s just enjoying her time with Greg. Victoria also said when it comes to Paradise, she has no regrets about her time there.
She said the things she said and felt were genuine in the moments they happened and that is especially true with Johnny.
