ABC’s popular dating reality show, The Bachelor, is gearing up for its latest season with a fresh trailer. Ahead of its 2023 premiere, the network recently released the first promo for the upcoming season of the dating show. The Bachelor Season 27 Stars The Bachelorette Star Zach Shallcross
As confirmed from the trailer, Season 27 stars Zach Shallcross, a contestant from the latest season of The Bachelorette. Shallcross was a finalist on the show alongside Rachel Recchia and had a dramatic sendoff in his final storyline. If this new teaser is any indication, Shallcross’ own journey in the upcoming season might be way more dramatic.

In the new promo, Shallcross is seen stating, “Do I deserve this? I don’t know. But I’m pretty damn happy.” However, later on, the sentiment quickly changes, and fans see his smile turn to hysterical tears. At one point in the promo, he says, “I feel like a failure. I feel like I let myself down, and I feel like I let the women down.”

He is even seen crying and heartbroken in the trailer over maybe a contestant leaving the show. He said, “I don’t even know what happened. I saw something with her. I was not expecting that.”
Zach Shallcross Will Have Some Extravagant Dates
However, it isn’t the leading man who looks emotional on the journey. The women aiming for Shallcross’ heart also break down in tears in the new footage. One contestant says, “We all want Zach, so the claws are going to come out.”

In the upcoming season of The Bachelor, Shallcross will be seen globe-trotting and yachting alongside his female suitors. Not just that, these dates seem extravagant and fairy-like too. From international travel to helicopter rides and skydiving to snorkeling, the adventure is endless in the upcoming season. The promo also shows Shallcross making out in the ocean, beach, Jacuzzi, and even by the fireworks.
Bachelor Star Sean Lowe Also Stars In Season 27
Apart from that, Sean Lowe, former Bachelor star also appears in the new trailer, and surprisingly enough, so does Bachelor Nation alum, Victoria Fuller. Shallcross’ new season also stars Tahzjuan Hawkins. As per Variety, she appeared in The Bachelor Season 23 and Bachelor In Paradise Seasons 6 and 7.

Zach Shallcross was a contestant on Season 19 of The Bachelorette. Moreover, he dated Rachel Recchia and made it to her top three guys. Although it seemed like he could have proposed at the end of the show, they realized they weren’t the right fit for one another.
