‘Sister Wives’ What Is Tony & Mykelti Padron’s ‘Taco Gate’?
The parents were not thrilled with Tony and Mykelti Padron’s union. They felt that it was rushed and impulsive. In the latest episode of Sister Wives, the couple noted that it was Robyn who first accepted their relationship. There were a lot of factors that played into the Brown parents’ trepidations about the situation. Mykelti had wanted to go to fashion school plus she had just met Tony.
Furthermore, Janelle’s daughter, Maddie was engaged so there was a lot going on. Finally, Christine and Kody gave their blessing and the two got engaged in the summer of 2016. What Exactly Happened With Mykelti & Tony Padron’s ‘Taco Gate’?
When Tony and Mykelti decided to get married, it was less than traditional. They wanted to do things their way which included sneakers, pinatas of themselves, and tacos. The couple wanted a lot of street tacos and the expenses started to become a concern for Kody. Tony actually had challenged him during that time and other times, subsequently. Fans started off questioning Tony and if he was a good partner for Mykelti but as time has gone on, they really like him.
They wanted him right by her side during Avalon’s home birth. More so, viewers really appreciate how he challenged Kody. Despite the fact that he wanted an obscene amount of tacos at the wedding (“taco gate”), they are now forgiving him for everything. He has now become the new hero and a Reddit thread has since been started to send praise. “Tony is his own person, unapologetic, and himself. I have so much appreciation for him, as well as the relationship he has with Mykelti,” one person noted.
Another added: “I’ve done a complete 180 on my thoughts on Tony from when we first met him. Justice for #tacogate.” A fellow Redditor chimed in, saying that they would need a large number of street tacos to deal with this family, as well. It seemed that he had wanted 4k of them and now, fans want to give him what he wants. They feel it is more than well-deserved.
Redemption For The Son-In-Law
Despite the initial disdain for Tony Padron, he has more than proven he is one of the good ones. He loves Mykelti and their baby girl, Avalon so deeply. Moreover, he does not let Kody get to him which is the best part. Whatever Kody says or does, he just smiles and nods. Tony was right there when Christine needed help moving and he seems quite grateful to have her near them in Utah. Now, he is most likely the father of three though the official announcement has yet to be made.
