Alyssa Bates Shocks Fans With Very Honest Chat About Intimacy
Bringing Up Bates star Alyssa Bates Webster left fans shocked after she had a very honest chat about intimacy. If you’re a fan of the Bates family, you know that they hold conservative, religious beliefs. They promote staying pure until marriage. So, it’s pretty unusual for them to open up about what goes on in the bedroom. But in a recent video, Alyssa didn’t hold back. Keep reading for all of the details.

So, while Alyssa might not have talked about intimacy on the show, she’s getting real and raw these days.
Alyssa Bates gets very honest about intimacy.
Every week, Alyssa and her husband John Webster share a new YouTube video with fans. Their most recent one is a Q&A session with Katie Bates Clark, Alyssa’s younger sister. Both sisters are pregnant and their due dates are just a month apart. Katie is having her first child, a girl named Hailey James, while Alyssa is preparing to welcome her fifth child and first boy.
In the video, the sisters answered fans’ questions about their pregnancies. Several times throughout the video, Alyssa Bates mentioned intimacy. She said that she’s been so sick during the first trimesters of all of her pregnancies that she’s not able to be intimate with her husband.
As for getting between the sheets during pregnancy, Alyssa pointed out that she has to be creative, especially when her due date is approaching and her bump is big. Also in the video, Alyssa admitted that one of the worst parts of the postpartum period is not being able to “do it” for six weeks.

On Reddit, fans are discussing the Q&A and some of Alyssa’s shocking comments about what goes on in the bedroom. One fan said, “I’m really surprised how open Alyssa was.”
While she didn’t share too many details, Alyssa Bates certainly spilled much more information than fans expected. Fans noticed that Katie seemed pretty uncomfortable during the Q&A and tried to change the subject at times.
Another fan pointed out, “She says after having kids, you stop getting embarrassed to talk about certain things.”
