‘1000-Lb. Best Friends’: Meghan Crumpler Honors A Late Friend

Meghan Crumpler and the rest of the 1000-Lb. Best Friends cast have a lot to celebrate right now. TLC just confirmed their show will be back with a new season very soon.

That’s excellent news, but Meghan has something that’s heavy on her heart as well. This week, she posted an Instagram post where she paid tribute to a dearly departed friend.

Fans noticed that overall, Meghan Crumpler seems to be doing quite well these days. But without a doubt, the death of her friend is still a painful memory for her.

TLC viewers first met Meghan Crumpler on Too Large when she was in desperately searching for a way to regain control of her life. After receiving bariatric surgery, TLC gave her and her friend Vannessa Cross a spin-off, 1000-Lb. Best Friends.

Ever since, Meghan has worked hard to improve her confidence and be happy with herself. Fans can’t help but notice she oozes confidence these days and seems very happy.

However, she took some time this week to honor someone who is no longer with her.

“Today I want to celebrate a Big Heavenly Happy Birthday to Brian Patterson. He left us all way to soon,” Meghan captioned her Instagram post. “This is the only photo I have of us & thinking back on this day when both of us were young & carefree not knowing the challenges life had a head of us. Brian Patterson was my 1st Love, and losing him when I was only 17 really effected me in so many ways. I am so blessed beyond measures and grateful that I was able to share the time I had with him on earth. May you dance on streets of Gold today. We love & miss you ๐Ÿ˜˜ Happy Birthday Brian”

Immediately, condolences poured into the comments section. Meghan’s followers really wanted her to know that they were around to support her in her time of need.

So sorry for your loss. Iโ€™m sure Brian is watching over you from the heavens ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผ” one fan wrote in the comments.ย 

“Time is precious,” another fan added. “Such beautiful words Meghan, may he Rest In Gods Peace and Glory๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป”

When can fans catch new episodes of 1000-Lb. Best Friends?

TLC recently confirmed two of its biggest shows were coming back with new seasons in 2023. In January, fans will get a chance to catch new episodes of 1000-Lb. Best Friends and 1000-Lb. Sisters too.

Vannessa and Ashely confirmed the news on their Instagram channels. Starting on January 4, 2023, fans can tune into TLC and catch new episodes of 1000-Lb. Best Friends at 10 PM eastern time. Thatโ€™s a Wednesday, so it seems like new episodes might air weekly on Wednesday nights.

It’s been a while since the four friends were on TV screens, so fans are very excited to welcome them back.
