Ticketmaster Confirms Taylor Swift Tickets Sold Out?
Fans have been in hysterics trying to snag tickets for Taylor Swift’s much-anticipated tour “Eras” which kicks off in 2023. There has been such a high demand during the pre-sales that it glitched the system and knocked Ticketmaster out of commission. The pre-sales were extended because of the huge demand. Now, there’s a new development that is leaving many Taylor Swift fans incredibly angry. Keep reading to find out more.
Ticketmaster makes huge unprecedented decision involving Taylor Swift tickets
Ticketmaster went to Twitter to deliver another big blow to Taylor Swift fans. The general sales that were supposed to take place Friday morning have now been officially canceled.
The tweet said, “Due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand, tomorrow’s public on-sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been cancelled.”
Fans immediately flocked to the comment section to share their disbelief and anger.
One fan said, “So when you say you have an “insufficient remaining ticket inventory” is that your fancy way of saying you have none left? If so, just say it man. If not, what are you doing with the remaining tickets?”
Someone else commented on the Twitter feed wondering how there were many who tried to get tickets during the pre-sales and were denied but scalpers have already secured many.
Other fans noted how disappointed they are and also expressed their anger towards Ticketmaster.
Tickets secured by third parties are already trying to resell their coveted tickets for more than $20K a ticket.

The upcoming tour
Taylor’s previous tour already broke records. According to People, “Swift’s last concert tour, 2018’s Reputation Stadium Tour, sold a total of 2.8 million tickets across 53 global dates and became the highest-grossing U.S. tour of all time. Her upcoming tour features 52 shows in North America alone.”
So far there have already been more than two million tickets sold for the Eras Tour.
