‘Sister Wives’ What Did Robyn Brown Contribute To Family?
Sister Wives fans first met Robyn Brown when she entered the family back in Season 1. At the time, Christine was nine months pregnant with Truely and wasn’t exactly thrilled that Kody was going to take on a new wife. But she entered the family anyway and quickly captured Kody’s entire heart.
It’s clear to viewers that she makes Kody Brown’s days brighter, but what exactly does Robyn contribute to the rest of the family?
Robyn Brown didn’t join the family entirely empty-handed
As of 2022, Kody and Robyn Brown are still happily living in the million-dollar Flagstaff home. It doesn’t really appear that they have any intention of building on the Coyote Pass property anytime soon. Meanwhile, Janelle has spent time in an RV on the property since she can’t find affordable housing. Fans feel angry that the family gives so much to Robyn and her children, but barely leaves anything else for the rest of the family.
So what does Robyn Brown contribute to the family anyway?
Sources say that she doesn’t really work, so she can’t actively contribute to the family funds. In other words, the only thing Robyn brought with her when she joined the family was a mountain of debt.
In a recent Reddit thread, Sister Wives fans discussed the serious debt Robyn Brown was drowning in when she married Kody. She accepted help from the other wives, mainly Janelle, to clear out the debt. But now that she’s free, it doesn’t seem like Robyn is that interested in giving back. Needless to say, this has really created some serious rifts between her and the other women.
The TLC star still has a few people in her corner
Surprisingly enough, Mykelti Padron actually maintains a strong relationship with Robyn. When Mykelti was giving birth to her daughter Avalon, she asked for Robyn to come. Of course, the Sister Wives star didn’t show up because of her strict COVID-19 rules. Instead, Robyn logged into a Zoom call so she could virtually be with Mykelti during the birth.
And based on clips from this week’s new episode, it looks like Mykelti and Robyn still have a great relationship.
Sister Wives Season 17 is approximately 18 months behind actual events. Mykelti Padron is now heavily pregnant with twin boys and could give birth any day now. It’s not yet known whether Robyn will be present for the birth of the twins. Time will tell what the future holds for the women in the family.
