‘Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Shot Meri’s Education Dreams Down
Sister Wives star Meri Brown had a lot of aims and ambitions. At the beginning of Season 7, Meri decided to go to college as earning a degree was very important to her. During her birthday dinner, she shared this with Kody Brown, who through his gritted teeth showed her some fake support. However, nothing happened and Meri didn’t end up getting a degree. What Was Robyn’s Excuse To Stop Meri’s Education?
After Meri conveys her decision to Kody, she is all tied up in knots wondering how Robyn will react to the news. However, Robyn seems devastated. Meri really wanted to resume her education but Robyn started complaining to Kody about how she can’t have another kid due to her added work obligations at My Sister Wives’ Closet. If Meri decided to get a degree she would have no helping hands.

Fans feel Robyn cruelly used having another kid as an excuse to stop Meri from getting a degree. She is seen actively discouraging Meri from getting an education. The obedient wife acts like Meri is betraying the family by thinking of herself for once.
Fans Feel Robyn Brown Is Selfish And Manipulative
Sharing a video clip of Robyn and Meri’s discussion about her education, a Reddit fan wrote, “Robyn: Education and ambition are an affront to polygamy and the family.”
“Robyn is the most selfish person on Earth,” added another.

A third fan claimed, “I was just gonna post the very same thing. God, I can’t stand this B. Everything is always about her & what she wants. She’ll do whatever it takes to get her way, no matter who she has to stomp on or manipulate to get it. She is absolutely vile.”

However, another blamed Robyn and Meri equally for the circumstances. They wrote, “Robyn’s awareness and values are f*cked up. But so are Meri’s. It’s a shame that every time Meri tried for independence or freedom, she made the wrong choices or allowed herself to be stopped. That she still sees Robyn as a friend is proof of Meri’s bad instincts and decisions.”

Fans even feel that Robyn manipulated things to fit her needs and help her look better than others. She never wanted any of the other wives to do anything to make them better. This would mean that she lost control, that she wasn’t the center of attention.
