Erich Schwer Breaks Silence On Gabby Windey Breakup
Erich Schwer has broken his silence about his split from The Bachelorette Gabby Windey. His statement comes after Gabby gave a brief statement during her pre-dance video on Monday’s Dancing With the Stars. What did Erich have to say about their broken engagement? Keep reading to find out more.
Erich Schwer issues statement about Gabby split
Erich Schwer went to Instagram to share his statement about his split from Gabby Windey. His statement still leaves a lot of unanswered questions just as Gabby’s did.
Erich said, “A lot of you are reaching out with questions about me and Gabby. The reality is that we ultimately were not each other’s people — it’s hard when there isn’t one thing to put your finger on. We met in a very unique situation and in a very unique way and I’m grateful we did. I would never take it back.”
He continued on saying, “Gabby is an amazing person and she is doing amazing things. I will always root for her and I hope she gives them hell in the DWTS finale. I have learned and grown so much this year from experiences and mistakes and I continue to better myself every day. I am hoping to take this time with my family and loved ones and focus on myself. I have been working hard these past few months and I’m excited to share with y’all eventually.”
Gabby is trying to move forward
Gabby’s statement on Dancing With the Stars was also fairly vague. She said they just weren’t each other’s best match. She told US Weekly, “I’m just grateful that I was able to do it on my own terms and when I was ready. It was just a new experience overall — being so public and being thrown into this. I think now it’s just kind of trying to move forward.”
Moving forward she is. Gabby and Val will be competing in the DWTS finals on Monday night.
Gabby has wowed fans with her amazing dancing skills. Her co-Bachelorette Rachel Recchia has been front and center cheering Gabby on.
Erich has still been encouraging fans to vote for Gabby as she heads to the big finale.
