A Wheel of Fortune hot contestant wins big with viewers and the show itself. Some of the fans couldn’t help themselves when they saw a good-looking player during Monday’s broadcast of the classic game show. He even impressed host Pat Sajak, who is sometimes hard to please.

One of the players was a man named John from New Hampshire. He shared that he volunteered with the Big Brother program. He mentored a teenager who is graduating high school soon. John caught attention with his blue eyes and keen guesses.

Wheel of Fortune fans called him the most “handsome” player they’ve seen in “decades.”

Handsome John catches Pat Sajak’s eye

Pat Sajak was impressed with John and his responses during the episode. He was an ace when it came to Wheel of Fortune. John appeared on the game show in a blue button-up shirt and dark pants. During one of the games, he correctly guessed “Wild Elephants” with just four letters.

In another surprising win, he guessed “All-Star Team” in just mere seconds. Fans were too distracted by his presence to even pay attention. Others were impressed by his cunning gameplay. John made it all the way to the end with the clue “Titantic, Tremendous, Towering, Tall” and hadn’t missed a beat.

Pat Sajak had a twinkle in his eye as well. He told the player, “Boy, you’re off to a great start!” John ended up 2/3 in the game with three remaining toss-ups. One of them was the clue “Playing a Prank” and he guessed it within four letters. Pat complimented him throughout the game as he looked on in shock.

John made it all the way to the bonus round. He was up to $40,000 in winning by that point. Once the timer started for the category “Food and Drink,” John guessed “Guava Cake” in one second. He swept the show with $83K in winnings, a trip to Costa Rica, and the affection of many fans.

Wheel of Fortune fans distracted by player’s eyes

Most of the Wheel of Fortune fans were too busy looking at John’s blue eyes and good looks. They didn’t really notice his gameplay. They took to Twitter to during the televised broadcast to post thirsty comments. Here are just some of them.

• “Wow, I’m watching Wheel tonight, and I can’t keep my eyes off of John!!”

Unfortunately for Wheel of Fortune fans, John’s married. His wife and mom were ready to greet him when he won. Some fans claim he’s the best player they’ve seen in decades. They haven’t seen anyone play like this in a long time.
