Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is currently living in her fifth-wheel trailer and getting things in line to build her home in Coyote Pass. However, Kody Brown feels like Christine’s decision to leave the family and move to Utah has complicated Janelle’s plan to build her home. He even thinks that they might have to reconfigure the entire plot. However, Sister Wives fans feel there is no need to reconfigure the land if they are one family unit. Why do they think so? Keep reading to find out the details!

Christine Brown Sold Her Coyote Pass Parcel For $10

Christine sold her parcel of Coyote Pass to Kody and Robyn back in August for $10. It was a deed of gift and she didn’t take any money for the same. For the Brown family patriarch, this will complicate things as he would have to reconfigure the property lines before Janelle could build on the land. Moreover, they need to pay off the property first in order to do so.

He said, “Our biggest struggle with financing, or with anything, is getting the property lines, which requires I think that we pay off the land.”

What Was The Original Intention Of Purchasing Coyote Pass?

In his confessional, Kody explained that his family originally purchased Coyote Pass with the intention of living together with the family in one big house or separate homes. Originally, the Browns wanted to purchase two lots. However, they ended up buying four. Now that Christine is parting ways with the family, they would have to reconfigure the existing four lots and divide them into five. To do that, the property needs to be paid off, so that Janelle can build on it.

Janelle’s primary concern is to build a home for her at the earliest given that she is living in her RV. Initially, Kody wasn’t fine with Janelle moving into the trailer. He wanted her to find a rental and plan a house later on when things are sorted out.

Kody Doesn’t Agree With Janelle’s Wish To Build On Coyote Pass

Confused about the purpose of reconfiguring the land, a Reddit user wrote, “Can someone explain this to me?? If they are 1 family unit, what difference does it make what the actual property lines are? Or couldn’t they find a spot to build that would not interfere with their future plans to divide?”

“Considering how long they’ve been pushing off building and the fact that they don’t have a plan for paying it off anytime soon, it seems ridiculous to keep waiting until they pay off the land to build,” they further explained.

The OP further added that Kody seems very annoyed by the fact that Janelle wishes to build her own home. She wants to have a place so that she doesn’t have to worry about the landlord deciding to sell.

Have Kody And Robyn Blown Through The Family Savings?

Another fan shared their theories and wrote, “To stop Janelle from building. To have 5 lots for the only 5 children that matter. It’s an excuse as to why they haven’t started building yet. (The real reason is that K&R have blown through all the money, but they can’t say that)”

A third fan explained how Kody doesn’t wish to live next to Meri or Janelle. So, if Janelle starts building on the property, she would be too close to avoid.

  1. There is no ,need to divide the property. Kody wants to do that as a way to make more money without having to work. Robyn may be a part of his scheme, but I doubt it. Kody wants to build a house for him. Although I don’t see him living alone and playinghop scotch with just Robyn.
The paying off the land before anyone builds is BS. They need to give money to Jenelle so she can start building her home..
And just FYI she could move her RV to all four lots for 3 months then back to the first one and that wouldn’t hurt anyone..
