Katie Bates Dishes On Pregnancy So Far & Gives Nursery Update
Former Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates is opening up to fans about how her pregnancy is going so far and also sharing a nursery update. She and Travis Clark are expecting their first baby due in March 2023. Keep reading for the latest details about their little one on the way.
In case you missed the big news, Travis and Katie announced their pregnancy in August, revealing that they’re growing their family. Shortly after, they shared that it is a girl and later said they are naming her Hailey James.
Since announcing the pregnancy, Katie and Travis have kept fans updated on how things are going. There have been a couple of bumps in the road, including some pretty bad morning sickness. Katie also needed daily injections but her doctor eventually stopped them.
Katie Bates Dishes On Pregnancy So Far
On her Instagram Stories on Monday, Katie had a little Q&A session with fans. One fan asked how far along she is now, and she revealed she has hit the 24-week mark.
While Katie Bates seems happy to be 24 weeks along in her pregnancy, it did lead to some canceled plans. She and her husband revealed to fans over the weekend that they had to back out of their combined one-year anniversary and babymoon trip. They were set to go on a cruise in a few weeks, but when they filled out the paperwork and checked in online, they learned that she is too far along in her pregnancy to go. So, they are coming up with a backup plan for the occasion.
Since Katie Bates has been open about her morning sickness, one fan asked for advice on what to eat while dealing with it. Katie enjoyed foods like “saltines, butter croissants, chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese, and apples.”

Also on her Instagram Stories, Katie Bates revealed to fans that she’s been hard at work on her little girl’s nursery. They recently painted it light pink. The furniture was also delivered, so there is a lot of work ahead as they build everything and set it up.
