‘SW’ Fans Agree Meri Brown Is Christine Without Dignity
Meri Brown hasn’t been in Kody’s good graces for quite some time. Ever since she publically revealed that she’d been involved in a catfishing scandal, Kody Brown has wanted very little to do with his first wife. In fact, he’s repeatedly said he doesn’t want to be intimate with her ever again. This season, he even admitted he wouldn’t be upset if she moved on with another man.
Unfortunately for Kody, Meri Brown seems intent on sticking around for the long run. Many Sister Wives viewers worry that she’s becoming delusional. Others believe she has the potential to be like Christine, but just can’t break free. See what fans are currently saying online.
Meri Brown is comfortable living in polygamy
Meri Brown was raised in a polygamist family. She’s comfortable with it and it’s all she knows at this point. And sadly, it seems like she’s going to keep choosing to stay put.
Christine was also raised in polygamy but chose to leave the family. Fans can’t help but compare the two women and their situation.
“Meri, Hunni. You’re in Christine’s shoes without the dignity,” one Redditor captioned a new thread. 
They attached the clip from this season where Meri revealed she still felt married to Kody.
“They did Meri so dirty with that edit. 😂” another Redditor replied. “Meri: I fill like we’re still married. Kody: I don’t really consider myself married to Meri. How the hell she sticks around after watching these episodes… I could never! I have too much self respect.”
At this point, plenty of viewers believe that Meri is jealous of Christine. They believe she also secretly wants to break away but just can’t bring herself to do it. Kody may be tired of Meri, but she seems determined to stay for the sake of their religious beliefs.
It’s a sad situation and fans would love to see Meri break away and find her own path. But she continues to say that she’s happy where she is.
Time will tell if Meri learns to choose herself and move on.
Sister Wives fans believe Kody Brown is a narcissist
Many Sister Wives fans believe something is definitely going on with Kody Brown. According to several fans, he might actually be a narcissist. In another thread, one Redditor uploaded a photo that they believed strongly summed up Kody.
“No one can throw a bigger tantrum than a narcissist who’s losing control of someone else’s mind,” the photo said.
By now, most viewers have seen the “knife in the kidneys” clip where Kody verbally berates Christine. It hasn’t aired in the season yet, but viewers believe it’s coming up very soon.
