Michael Strahan went MIA from GMA after his surprise tackle. An online video of the former NFL star tackled to the ground by a strong soldier has fans concerned about him. Just a few months ago, Michael was on crutches at the NYC headquarters. He never explained the reason for his injury.

The anchor tends to stay private about his personal life. Michael only wants the focus on his career. On Monday’s broadcast of Good Morning America, he went absent from the live show. Michael was replaced by a fan-favorite.

He took to Instagram to share his whereabouts with his fans and followers.

A military man tackles Michael Strahan to the ground

In another scary Instagram post, the 50-year-old played a game of football with the military heroes during Veteran’s Day weekend. Michael Strahan traveled to the Al Udeied Air Base for NFL Sunday. He wore a navy-blue plaid suit.

The television personality tried to make his way onstage. Michael was met by a group of airmen during the game. One of the military men blocked him and surprisingly tackled him to the ground. The guy’s teammates cheered him on. Michael Strahan seemed surprised by the sudden attack.

He got up from the ground, backed away, and jogged to the other side of the stage. One of the military men checked in with Michael. They jogged over and shouted to one of the airmen: “He’s good!” NFL shared the video on its official Instagram account with the caption: “Tough o-line.”

Fans were concerned when they saw the video. However, they have no reason to be alarmed. Michael Strahan has a long relationship with the armed forces. He claims to be an “army brat.” On Veteran’s Day, Michael celebrated his father, who was Maj. Gene W. Strahan, Sr.”

Missing GMA co-host shares update

On Monday’s broadcast of Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos, Robin Roberts, and fan favorite TJ Holmes sat behind the large desk. Michael Strahan took to social media to share his own whereabouts. He explained why he was absent from the show again.

“FOX NLF SUNDAY is live from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with a two-hour show beginning RIGHT Now in @NFLonFox,” Michael Strahan captioned his social media post.

He shared footage of himself in Qatar. The soldiers lined up behind them as they cheered him on. He panned the camera over to them. At the end of the clip, Michael smiled as he gave the thumbs-up sign. He appears to be doing well from his surprise tackle.
