Lawson Bates Pens Touching Tribute After Losing Loved One
Bringing Up Bates star Lawson Bates has penned a touching tribute after losing a very special loved one. Sadly, the Bates family has suffered a tragic loss recently. Keep reading to see the beautiful message Lawson wrote, as well as the special photos he shared from over the years.
As TV Shows Ace reported, the Bringing Up Bates family suffered a tragic loss. Sadly, Kelly Jo Bates’ mother Betty Jo Pitcher passed away last week. She had RSV and went to the emergency room. Unfortunately, she had complications, which led to her death.
Since her passing, the Bringing Up Bates stars have been posting on social media about this loss. Many have shared photos of their favorite times with their Meema.
Now, Lawson is adding his own photos and paying tribute to his Meema. Over the weekend, the family attended her funeral.

In a new Instagram post, he shared several beautiful photos of himself and his late grandmother. In one photo, she is even wearing a Lawson Bates tee shirt as she went to one of his concerts.
While sharing the photos and reflecting on his Meema’s life, he wrote, “My sweet grandmother went home to be with Jesus . . . Meema, you were the epitome of a proud and loving grandmother! Always doing your best to be a part of every big life moment you could, even after your health was fading.”
Lawson Bates then explained that she went to every concert, wedding, and other events that she could. He seems to appreciate her dedication and support over the years.
He added, “Family was everything to you, and we have so many precious memories together.” The Bringing Up Bates star also mentioned how greatly his grandmother is missed already.
