Kody Brown is not taking any accountability for his split with Christine. He feels that she could have tried harder and that she just gave up. The father of eighteen clearly cannot see how hard Christine tried throughout the years to move mountains and adapt. At the very least, she was an amazing mother and cared for the children with everything she had. Yet, in the end, Kody maintains that this breakup was all on her. Read on for his reasoning.

Kody Brown Solely Blames Christine For The Split

In the latest episode of Sister Wives, Kody is hashing out his problems with his former third wife. This all plays out in front of his other three wives, Meri, Robyn, and Janelle. They were all gathering so that Christine could share that she was moving to Utah in a week as her home had sold. It was never supposed to get much deeper than that but, of course, it did. Kody did thank Christine, who birthed him six children. He felt her coming into the family when she did was really a great service, essentially.

She joined in 1994, four years after he married Meri, and one year after Janelle. The family was quite messy and the first two wives could not quite click. Luckily, Christine was a breath of fresh air and reconnected everyone. Then, things began to fall apart about a decade or so ago. Christine even brought up how she had proposed moving back to Utah and Kody seemingly agreed. Yet, he had no real intentions of living there again.

Ultimately, during their familial discussion, Kody called Christine out for wanting the family more than the man. That was how she always was, this even being her initial tagline for the series. Then it became all about Kody and not about the family, which could not be further from the truth. He has maintained that Christine always wanted more than the other wives from him. At the end of the day, Kody just felt she was hurt he did not want to move to Utah and that was when it ended.

More To The Story

Kody Brown had stopped going over to Christine’s prior to the pandemic. She alleged that he would rarely come by to see her and the girls. Then, the pandemic hit and he was never around. Add to that the idea that they would never be intimate again and it was enough for Christine to exit the marriage. Yes, there were stipulations for them to possibly be romantic again but Christine knew he was not attracted to her. She was not about to keep forcing something that had been broken for a very long time.

Do you think Christine is solely to blame for the downfall of her and Kody Brown’s marriage? Or did his behavior play a huge part in it? Let us know in the comments and watch Sister Wives Sundays on TLC.
