Gabby Windey Finally Addresses Erich Schwer Split
Fans were not really shocked when news broke that The Bachelorette Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer had decided to take time apart or aka breakup. However, there weren’t many details mentioned other than they ended their engagement and were working through things. Now, Gabby has finally broken her silence on the split. Gabby Windey addressed Erich Schwer split on DWTS
Gabby Windey alluded to the fact on Instagram that she would be addressing her split from Erich Schwer on Monday night’s Dancing With the Stars. Fans have been waiting to hear from her or Erich about the reasons they decided to part ways.
US Weekly shared what Gabby had to say. The video which aired on DWTS showed Gabby talking to Val during rehearsals. She said, “The end of our relationship happened because we weren’t completely in step and in sync with each other in our common goals or just the way we approach life.” She added that they “weren’t each other’s best match.”
In true Gabby fashion, she tried to remain positive by saying, “I’m just so grateful that my dad and my stepmom encompass so many fundamentals and values that I look for in a relationship, like never placing blame.” She continued, “I want to channel that kind of everlasting love in this dance.”
Things weren’t so great
Gabby had fans thinking there was trouble in paradise for a while now. She was dancing for a few weeks without that huge rock on her finger.
When asked about the missing ring and missing fiance from the audience, Gabby responded saying they were both busy. She also said they were supporting each other from afar.
Erich has still not addressed their split but continued to support Gabby’s dancing journey. Even though they were not together he encouraged fans via Instagram to vote for Gabby and Val.
Their split comes just two months after the finale of The Bachelorette aired on ABC.
Gabby continues to kill it on the dance floor. She and Val just landed themselves a spot in the semi-finals which will begin next Monday on Disney+.
