On Thursday’s broadcast of The View, Whoopi Goldberg shared the news of her new business venture. She will launch Whoopi Prosecco on her birthday. The actress shared the news at the start of the talk show. She kicked off her brand in a big way with a troupe of dancers.

They brought out a bottle of Whoopi Goldberg’s prosecco for her panel to try. She held up the bottle as she shared the news with everyone. The studio audience applauded her.

“So, how about some bubbly from my brand new line of Whoopi Prosecco?” she asked as she held up the bottle. “I love hosting gatherings with friends and family — that’s why I created Whoopi Prosecco.”

Each bottle retails for $21.99 and contains “organic grapes” found in Asolo, Italy. Whoopi Goldberg announced another career shakeup prior to this. Earlier this week, it was reported that she will star in a new Western film. Per Deadline, Whoopi will play a vital role in the movie Outlaws, which is directed and written by Mario Van Peebles.

Filming for the movie wrapped up in Montana. That could be the reason why Whoopi was away from The View. The movie focuses on Chief Van Peebles, who brings together a “multicultural team of new and old friends” who seek to find gold from “an abandoned mine.” Whoopi Goldberg will play the role of Stagecoach Mary. Alongside Whoopi and Mario, the movie also stars Cedric the Entertainer, Edward James Olmos, John Carroll Lynch, M. Emmet Walsh, and William Mapother.
