What Is The Legends Of Tomorrow Series About?
Set in the Arrowverse, the series premiered on The CW on January 21, 2016. It ran for seven seasons until it was canceled in March 2022. The show also served as the spinoff to The Flash and Arrow, featuring several characters that were introduced in the two series alongside other new ones. However, Season 7 ended on a cliffhanger episode that saw the titular heroes arrested by the Time Police.
Although it seemed like it was The CW’s fault for ending the show on a cliffhanger, the Legends co-showrunner Keto Shimizu revealed that it wasn’t. She said, “It’s mine. I played chicken with the pickup and lost. Hopefully, the story can continue in another form. TV? Movie? Comic Book? Radio Play?”
Eric Wallace Doesn’t Wish To Get Anybody’s Hopes Up
Additionally, The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace also confirmed that he would do his best in order to save the Legends. However, it might seem a bit challenging to accomplish this in the upcoming final season of his show.
Keeping things honest, Eric wrote, “Going to save the Legends….As much as I’d love to do that, that’s not something that is very easy to do in a season when I may have to wrap up my own story. I want to be honest and not get anybody’s hopes up!”
