‘The View’ Joy Behar Compares Judge Judy To ‘Taliban’

Joy Behar compared Judge Judy to the “Taliban.” The View host shocked fans when she used that metaphor to talk about the popular television personality. It all took place on Wednesday’s broadcast of the morning show when the panel discussed famous neighbors.

Co-host Sunny Hostin admitted that she was scared of Judge Judy. She found her a little “rough” around the edges. The conversation started when pop star Justin Bieber found out that he lived next door to the television judge. He was so “scared to death” of the pop culture fixture that he paid people to watch her.

Once The View returned from a commercial break, moderator Whoopi Goldberg brought up the story. At the time, Justin Bieber was going through a rough time in his personal life and career. He was frightened to be living next to the cold and harsh judge. The television star, whose real name is Judy Sheindlin, spoke out about living next to the “Sorry” singer.

“He was scared to death of me. It was a period of time before he grew up when he was foolish and doing foolish things, and so I must have said something about it,” Judy said. “And then I understood that he was paying the front door people to let him know when I was there, coming and going, so he wouldn’t have to bump into me!”

Joy Behar shared her thoughts on that matter. She laughed and admitted that Judy is the type of person who loves it when other people are scared of her. Whoopi replied: “Well, yeah, she’s Judge Judy man! She’s a little scary!” That’s when Joy compared her to the “Taliban.”

“Well, I know her, she’s been to my house for dinner,” Joy Behar admitted to the panel. “She’s a really lovely, sweet person, but on TV she’s like the Taliban, let’s face it!”

Sunny Hostin admits she’s also scared of Judge Judy

The fiery redhead admitted that Judy is “only scary on television.” However, the two have gotten to know each other and she enjoyed her company. Sunny Hostin chimed in and said that she was also scared of Judge Judy’s persona. She called her “a little rough” and “a little scary!”

Sunny admitted that she met her before and she was scared of her. Joy Behar joked that Judge Judy “scares” both Justin Bieber and Sunny Hostin. Sunny wouldn’t want to live next to Judy anytime soon. However, Joy has nothing bad to say about the polarizing TV judge.
