On Monday’s broadcast of The View, Nicolle made an appearance in a cobalt blue silk dress. She sat next to Sara Haines, who wore a fuchsia blouse. She spoke to the panel about the U.S. midterm elections. During the chat, Nicolle revealed that it’s not smart to bash either Democrats or Republicans.

“Bashing Democrats about inflation doesn’t mean that Republicans are promising to fix inflation. I haven’t seen one promise to fix it,” Nicolle explained. “And bashing Democrats about crime, I haven’t seen a Republican campaign rooted in ending crime.”

She admitted that either group can hate certain policies. However, they’re not offering their own solutions to these problems. Nicolle would like to see both sides offer their own takes on how they resolve. It could lead to a better solution than just bashing the other side.

Sara Haines suffers an embarrassing blunder

In the midst of her interesting discussion, Nicolle was distracted by something on the table. It wasn’t her phone ringing. Sara Haines forgot to shut her phone off before the live broadcast. She became red-faced when it started making noise.

“Oh, you have a call!” Nicolle jokingly told Sara.

“No, I had a GPS response, I guess I’m going somewhere!” Sara Haines. Nicolle replied: “We’re all going somewhere!”

Ana Navarro side-eyed Sara Haines when her phone made a noise. “I would really like to know what the fastest route to where!” she joked as their fellow panelists laughed. This isn’t the first time that Sara has dealt with a blunder on the show.

Awkward moment with Whoopi Goldberg

The next moment took place with Whoopi Goldberg. Last week, the moderator ignored Sara Haines during another awkward moment. She didn’t answer any of her questions. The comedian ended the show on a commercial break.

The incident took place when Whoopi talked about relationships. She asked the panel whether they were the dumper or the dumpee. Joy Behar admitted she was the dumpee because she doesn’t have the guts to break it off. Sunny Hostin shared that she got always dumped, and Alyssa Farah Griffin said she had to dump an ex because it “wasn’t working.”

When it was Sara Haines’ turn, she shared that she was “usually the dumpee,” but there was one time when she was the dumper and it felt “harder” to do. Whoopi didn’t let her share her experience. She ignored her during the entire segment. Whoopi also ignored Sara when she asked her if she was the dumper or the dumpee.
