Sometimes, Amy receives criticism for her cooking videos. LPBW fans have pointed out her gross habits, such as talking with her mouth full of food or licking her fingers.

But overall, fans seem to enjoy watching her cook and learning about new recipes. The TLC star has now uploaded a new video that hints at an odd ingredient.

LPBW Star Fesses Up To Eating ‘Porcupine?’

In her newest cooking video, which she posted on her Instagram page this week, Amy Roloff mentioned porcupine. This might have caught fans’ attention and left them asking questions.

In her post, she explained how this is one of her favorite recipes and shared its significance. She said, “Sometimes the best kind of comforting meal is the one you used to love as a kid. My mom used to make Porcupine Meatballs and then I made them myself once I became a mom.”

Fortunately, the LPBW star didn’t wait long to tell fans what she really means by this. Amy Roloff said, “But the name might be the best part of this recipe! The rice in the meatballs look like little porcupine spikes after they’re cooked.”

So, there isn’t actually any porcupine in Amy’s dish.

  1. We eat porcupine meat balls all the time. Easy to fix easy to consume. Hamburger, onions, minute rice, egg and seasonings. Salt, pepper worchestire sauce. Mix meat and ingredients together in egg and seasonings. Brown the meatballs. Pressure cook in quart of tomato juice about 7 minutes. Let steam off on its own. Delish.
