Amy Halterman Accidentally Cuts Off Gage’s Head
1000-Lb. Sisters fans were rolling as Amy Halterman accidentally cut off Gage’s head in a tribute to him on his second birthday. As her 470K Instagram followers know, the TLC star is notorious for posting horrible pictures on her profile. Chopping off part of one of her son’s heads, chopping off a body part, or the entire photo being extremely blurry are just extremely common on her profile.
Oftentimes, 1000-Lb. Sisters fans will ask Amy Halterman how she manages to continue to take such terrible photos. As TvShowsAce has previously reported, Amy has a pretty good reason for the quality of her photos being poor a large portion of the time. The TLC star is legally blind in one of her eyes. So, fans can only assume this hinders her ability to take a decent photo sometimes.
While some fans were pretty quick to point out that Amy Halterman accidentally cut off Gage’s head in his birthday post, they weren’t really giving her a hard time. In fact, some fans admit they’ve reached a point where they just find her horribly bad pictures to be hilarious.

Amy Halterman accidentally cuts off Gage’s head
The 1000-Lb. Sisters star took to Instagram recently to celebrate Gage Halterman turning two. Fans of the series were overwhelmed as they couldn’t believe how fast he’s grown.
She penned in the caption of her post: “Happy 2nd birthday Gage. Omg I can’t believe you are 2. Momma, dada and brother love you so much baby!! I hope u have a monster size fun today.”
Her Instagram post included three photos. The first was of Gage’s birthday cake. The second was a photo of Gage. And, the third was a photo of Gage with his brother Glenn. In the photo of Gage by himself, Amy Halterman completely cuts off Gage’s head. In the third photo of Gage and Glenn, Amy still manages to hack off the top of the birthday boy’s head.
Amy Halterman later took to Instagram again with ten more photos. The photo revealed Gage celebrated his birthday at Chuck E. Cheese. In the caption of her follow-up, Amy tells fans he had a great time celebrating his birthday.
Gage had the best birthday ever!!! I wanna thank everyone! Y’all really made his day. From playing with bff Iris to FaceTime aunt Tammy Slaton. To swing brother at the park. Now heading home! Watch kung fu panda in the van!!!!!”
