Nikita Dragun Forced In Dangerous Situation At Men’s Prison
Transgender icon Nikita Dragun was forced into a dangerous situation by being locked up at a men’s prison. As TvShowsAce reported yesterday, Nikita was recently arrested and charged with felony battery of a police officer (along with a few misdemeanor charges).
Per TMZ, the transgender icon was forced behind bars in a men’s unit at a local prison after being arrested on Monday. Speaking out, Nikita’s representative was horrified to learn she was behind bars in a men’s unit given that she is legally a female. Furthermore, her rep points out that she’s being placed in a dangerous situation by not being properly booked in a female unit.
Her representative explains: “The situation with Nikita, who is legally female, being placed in a men’s unit of a Florida jail is extremely disturbing and dangerous.”
This decision made by the Miami-Dade County Corrections Department directly violates their protocol, which mandates that transgender inmates are classified and housed based on safety needs and gender identity.”
Why was she arrested?
As TvShowsAce previously reported, the cops were called after Nikita caused a massive disturbance at the hotel she was staying at. She reportedly wandered around the pool of the hotel naked. The hotel staff got doused with water in an attempt to get her to stop causing a disturbance. When police were called to the scene, Nikita slammed her door in the officer’s face before dousing him with water as well.
Nikita Dragun was arrested and removed from the hotel after attacking the police officer and security guard with water.

Now, the transgender icon’s representative went on to confirm Nikita is no longer in the alarming situation as her $5,000 bail was posted. Her rep said in a separate statement to a different outlet: “Nikita has been released and is now safe. Thank you for respecting her privacy during this time.”
On Tuesday, the social media influencer did appear before a judge. During the appearance, she asked if she could be moved to the women’s unit. The judge told Nikita Dragun that they didn’t make the rules, but Nikita had the option of posting bail. So, she did.
