Dancing With The Stars pro Jenna Johnson would have loved to join the cast of Season 31. However, she’s sitting out this year to focus on her health and her pregnancy. She and her husband Val Chmerkovskiy will welcome a baby boy in January.
So for now, Jenna is content to cheer for Val and help choreograph when needed. She’s been seen in the audience each week and even helps with opening dances now and then.
But how far along is Jenna and what does her baby bump look like? See what updates the 28-year-old chose to share online with her fans.
Jenna Johnson is thriving as she experiences pregnancy
Jenna Johnson is definitely one of the top performers in the ballroom. In Season 29 and 30, she finished in second place with her celebrity partners. She has confirmed that she would like to come back to DWTS once the baby arrives. She’s due in January, so that will give her plenty of time to train and prepare for next fall.
But until then, Jenna is taking it easy and enjoying the pregnancy experience.
“Celebrating 30 weeks of carrying my little love. ilysm baby boy 🤍” Jenna posted on Instagram this week. She posted a few photos of herself cradling her bump and looking absolutely stunning.
The dancer’s friends, fans, and family members flooded the comment section to praise the soon-to-be-mother.
“Soooo beautiful!!” her So You Think You Can Dance castmate Hayley Erbert wrote.
“STUNNING MAMA😍😍😍” added Lindsay Arnold, who also recently announced she is expecting.

Dancing With The Stars kicks off 90s Night tonight
Jenna is definitely enjoying her pregnancy, but she’s never too busy to cheer on her husband Val Chmerkovskiy and his partner Gabby Windey. All season long, they’ve been frontrunners in the competition. Many think that another member of Bachelor Nation will take home the Mirrorball Trophy this year.
Don’t miss out on the latest episode of Dancing With The Stars! Tonight is 90s Night and the remaining contestants have been working all week to bring you the best routines.
Gabby and Val will dance the Samba to “Livin’ La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin for their individual routine. Then they will face off against Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas and perform the Salsa to “Aint Gonna Hurt Nobody” by Kid ‘N Play. They really need to win the dance-offs if they want a chance to advance to the semifinals.
There will be a double elimination tonight and the top six will advance to the semifinals episode, which will be on November 14.
