‘GMA’ Why Are Michael Strahan & Robin Roberts Both MIA?
GMA fans have noticed that two of the most popular news anchors on the morning program have been missing recently. Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts have both been MIA from recent installments of the daily show. This has led viewers to begin questioning their absence.
So, why are Michael and Robin missing from Good Morning America? Keep reading to find out what has been revealed and when fans can expect to see them back on the air.
Michael Strahan Returns To GMA
Typically, Good Morning America has been led by three co-anchors: George Stephanopoulos, Robin Roberts, and Michael Strahan. Earlier this year, both Robin and George were celebrated as two of television’s longest-serving news hosts on one program. Both of them have been on GMA for 13 years.

With two of the main panel missing for much of last week, the feel of the morning show was off. Strahan returned after being absent last Monday, but Robin disappeared and remained gone for the rest of the week.
There is confirmation that Robin will be returning, but when and what has she been up to?
When Does Robin Roberts Return?
It has been reported that Robin Roberts has been missing from the morning news program because she was away on a work assignment. However, Robin did not specify what the project was. The only real detail she provided is that she would return to Good Morning America soon.
In addition to being away on her unspecified work assignment, Robin has also been busy promoting the film Wakanda Forever. She has also been promoting her own special, Black Panther in Search of Wakanda.

The program premiered on Friday on ABC and is now available to stream on Hulu. It focuses on the worldwide impact that the film Black Panther made and it also paid respect to the late actor, Chadwick Boseman, who played the beloved comic book character on the big screen. The special also reportedly includes a tear-jerking interview between Boseman’s widow, Simone Ledward Boseman, and Whoopi Goldberg of The View.
Outside of this, fans of Robin Roberts will have to wait until she reveals what else she has been working on. All three main co-anchors for the show work on projects outside of GMA and often share updates. Robin has been fairly quiet about this one though.
